Turn the log into a single share-of-voice number, spot drift early, and ship one fix per week.
Share-of-voice in one formula
Mentions ÷ total prompts × 100. That's it. Track it weekly per engine. A baseline of 20% is healthy for a small local business; under 5% means you're invisible at the moment of decision.
Spot drift early
Engines reweight their sources constantly. A prompt you won last month can quietly stop mentioning you. Weekly checks catch this in days, not quarters — and make the fix small instead of catastrophic.
One fix per week
Don't try to fix every gap. Pick the single highest-intent prompt where you're missing, ship one concrete change (a new FAQ entry, a comparison page, a third-party citation), and re-test next week. Compounding wins beat heroics.
